About
My academic background is in Mediterranean Archaeology, with a special interest in the prehistory of the Eastern Mediterranean (specifically Bronze Age). My PhD focussed on the composition of the Mycenaean state, comparing Greece with known political entities in the Late Bronze Age Orient. I have worked for a number of fieldwork projects (in Egypt, Syria, Greece and Romania) and I am the author of a number of articles and monographs on the ancient world.
